Meet Kate & Caroline!
Kate has had a passion for design and writing from a young age.
Throughout high school, she participated in college classes through Durham College to develop her Photoshop and Adobe Suite design skills. After high school, Kate continued her education at Durham College in the Entrepreneurship Business Program which included classes on SEO, Web Design and Marketing. Kate has built up her portfolio over the years assisting friends’ small businesses with branding, websites and keeping their socials updated.
With a goal to start her own company, Kate soft launched Parkwood Media to help other small businesses take their online presence to the next level!
Why Parkwood?
Named after Kate’s late first horse, Caroline (aka Parkwood Affair) Parkwood Media is in memory to Caroline, who was with Kate on every step of this journey until recently. Caroline is the orange horse occasionally seen on our Instagram and site!
